I have a wii and a gamboy-gamecube link cable. I used it to connect colluseum and ruby, but i wont work! they wont trade. On the gameboy it just says please wait for over 20 minutes, and the same with colluseum. Its not that its not working, its just nothing is happening. Yes its pluuged into 2nd gamecube socket.

Okay, guys.
In order to trade the Pokemon from Pokemon Colosseum you need the following:
- A Ruby/Sapphire/LeafGreen/FireRed game. You need to beat the Elite Four on that game
- You need to have beaten Evice (aka the game) on Pokemon Colosseum. If you don't know who that is, look up a guide.
- You also need A GameBoy Advance, A Gamecube (obviously), and a "Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable". Look it up, they're cheap.
-If you have the above, you can trade.

- Now, on Pokemon Colosseum, go to a Pokemon Center (I think all of them have this, but to be safe, go to Phenac City). Take the stairs down to the lower level.
- Connect your Gameboy up to the Gamecube with the cord. Make sure your Gameboy game has been saved in a Pokemon Center.
- You're prompted to turn on your Gameboy. Turn it on, and then trade just like if it were with another Gameboy. Direction buttons to move, A and B to Accept or Cancel respectively.
There. Now you know how to trade.

It works with the wii. The Wii plays Gamecube games, and the GCN Link Cable plugs into one of the Gamecube's controller slots, they also have those on the wii. The things that are required are Wii/Gamecube, GBA/SP, GCN Link Cable, Gamecube Memory card, and then the games to trade. I love Pokemon Colosseum and XD because you can get alot of johto pokemon, and I love obtaining Ho-Oh and Lugia!

ok buy the game. get a gamecube controller and a memory card. on top of the wii are 2 white covers, detach them, plug your game cube controller and memory card. now go to the game screen or game channel or wherever. it will have a gamecube symbol on it unlike wii games, wich have a cover. so click it then play wit game cube controller. i play my gc games like this

it's possible...here's the trick...firstly Gen2 gold/silver/crystal] and Gen1[red/blue/yellow] can only trade with Gen2 and Gen1...no trading with ruby/saph/emerald/firered/leafgreen/ect.. second rule you need to use a GBC link cable not a GBA link cable...
