@cman1997underwood this is just for Nintendo DS, as to my knowledge anyway. I have yet to even see a release date for the 3DS in the US, and my girlfriend works at Gamestop. The game is playable on the Normal DS systems, I have the rom for it on my computer, and it works fine.

ok this is how it works. if the zeckrom attacks after the reshiram does with that move, it becomes more powerful

if reshiram attacks with that move after zeckrom, it doubles the power. this is why reshiram was lvl 52, so it would outspeed the player's zeckrom and let the player win.

hence, NEITHER one is better than the other.

Yeah, but Exeggecute was at least, partially based on something from real animals (I always figured they'd evolve into a chicken or be related to Farfetch'd or something). Besides, those eggs are cute!

Ice Cream, on the other hand, isnt even easy to make by yourself and it's not un-vegetarian. So I guess that's why some people are against "Food Pokemon." Next thing you know, they'll have you trying to catch a fire/flying type Spaghetti Monster who shoots meatballs at you.

Now that I think about it, does anyone use Exeggecute(Blue does but he can do whatever the heck he wants)? You must not have ever played the original games, then. I loved my Exeggutor! Exeggutor in Gen. 1 was the strongest Grass type, and it's not not bad, at all, with a Sunny Day/Synthesis/Solarbeam combo. If you get the Ice Cream Pokemon, then you should understand him, too. In fact, almost ALL of Blue's Pokemon were the strongest in some way, in Gen 1. Except Arcanine; that was a bad choice. Probably Gyarados too, although it's physically strong. I'd think he would've went with Starmie...

@Mcheetah Actually, I have played my brother's Red when I was younger, but he only let me fight wild Pokemon so you're half right. I had a hunch that Exeggutor was the strongest Grass-type since it was half-Psychic, which was overpowered, and that most Grass Pokemon were either half-Poison or just really sucky. You're right about to understand a Pokemon you must use it, I assumed Exeggutor was weak because my Charizard knocked it out in one hit everytime.

Arcanine's ONLY good stat was it's okay Attack power. It did Fire attacks horribly and learned very few decent fire moves without TM's (Flamethrower the TM didnt exist until Hoenn). The Blue-exclusive Ninetales is no better as it's only good stats were it's Speed. It also sucked as a Fire type. Rapidash was so-so. The only good ones were Charizard, Magmar, and Moltres if you had the right TMs for him. But at least back then, there werent like, only 2 or 3 Fire families per game.

I think Game Freak should've made the fifth villains a non-law-breaking gang of Pokemon trainers who abuse and exploit only the strongest Pokemon using legal-but-lame tactics and BS math equations. And because of this, they would also be stronger than any other gang before them. And they would also be your rivals going against the Pokemon League. And while "normal" trainers, they'd still be 100% evil.

The first two Cross Thunders look different (and are stronger - their power is doubled) because in these turns Zek was hit earlier by Reshi's Cross Flame. Look it up on Bulbapedia.

@ the Ice Cream Pokemon: According to Game Freak, Baibanira, along with its pre-evolutions were not designed nor created by Ken Sugimori. They were created by James Turner, making them the first Pokémon to be designed by an American.

Along with some other weird looking ones like the little vulture (which is omfgugly), they aren't designed by the original Jap GF team. That's probably explains why they look weird/ugly/different.

And people who complain about the gear, think magneton lol.

These pokemon designs are a let down. The ones in the ruby and saphire versions were much better. Pearl and Diamond wasn't that bad either. It's pretty much unanimous that the designs are not as good as the ones in the previous gens.

Just notice ONE piece of shit, in The battle with N, i only know if He u,ses reshiram, and you use zekrom, when you use, The first move what GCPM11 used, cross thunder, It has a better power effect is stronger, and looks more epic then using it normally in battles like with ur friend, because Zekrom is probably MORE enRAGED and this is usual to happen, they did this to make it more realistic, Boy this game is just the cherry on the pie of Gamefreak Untill NOW!

@TheRayquaza93 The reason that Cross-Thunder is more powerful than normal is because after Reshiram hit Zekrom with Cross-Fire, Zekrom's Terravolt abilty activated which boosted the power of Cross-Thunder and made it look more powerful.

@TheRayquaza93 Not exactly. Cross Thunder has more power when Cross Flame hits first, and vice versa. So the amount of damage the the moves do is based on who hits first. After that, both players are forced to use cross Flame/Thunder until the opponent goes down or it runs out of PP, or, as in the film, when you use an item on it.

@Doomed100 I don't think so. It will probably be called pokemon chrome. Reshiram is a play off of the word white(shiro) in japanese while Zekurom(Japanese spelling) is based of of the word kuro which is black in Japanese. The last Pokemon of the three, Kyremu, sounds like chrome; so It's only my guess, but the third installment will be called Chrome. Gray just sounds kinda.....bland. lol

@TornTen I don't think it'll be called that. Every generation has a theme to it: B/R/G/Y were colors. G/S/Crystal were types of rocks and minerals. R/S/E were jewels. D/P/Pl were all things used in jewelry. HG/SS were a type of metal with a word that implies the meaning of spirit in front of it. So most likely, the third game of this series is either a color, or there will be no third game to this generation.

Oh good, I thought I was gonna have to find that Yu-gi-oh haired hippie Adeku. This is my favorite champion battle so far. More surprising as Blue being the Champion. My thoughts on the Champions greatest to least.

D/P/Pt: Her Garchomp makes things tough.

Theres soo many new feautures i cant list them all.

The only bad thing is the fact that all starters suck except water. And yuniran is overpowered for a first stage pokemon. Gameplay is a bit too easy with the fact that u can catch a pokemon that beats the gym prior to the gym. (u catch ground types before electric gym in the desert)

And u can only get the truly beast pokemon after u beat the game. Sasandora evolves at like 60 something wtf...

the attack cross flame and cross thunder looks different sometimes.... its because when Zekrom is hit by Cross Fire or Blue Fire (Lv. 100 attack Reshiram learns), Cross Thunder will increase in power and be more epic. Its the same with Reshiram, when Reshiram is hit by Cross Thunder or Lightning Strike (Lv 100 attack Zekrom learns), Cross Flame's power will increase

@shadowpiplup Its a crazy theory, but all I can say is that the battles to finish the game are far from over. Also, if N was a villen, then why would he heal your team? fighting a weakened team would seem more of a direct way to go.

If serebii is correct then those epic thunder/fire moves are Zekrom's and Reshiram's signature moves respectively and such after one is used the other one is stronger if used after the first. Which explains why Zekrom although under leveled is doing more damage. Correct me if I'm wrong
