I caught a feebas in sapphire. I then gave the feebas to my cousins ruby to evolve and train. It evolved and it was lv. 50. She also had a recently caught latios. My little brother started a new game and saved on Ruby. I hate them now.

@Monkeyfish48 u need max beauty on it and then just level it up once. its tricky though since u need to use berries that give a high amount of beauty points and feebas needs to be past a certain amount of beauty points. i think i used kelpsy berries as a berry good enough to help it up its beauty.

and since the youtube people are dicks i can't post a url so seach bulbapedia in google and then when you get there type celadon city then go to the bottom of the page where it says generation 3 and grimer will have 1% encounter rate and if you try and find one it will most likly take you over twenty minutes maybe even an hour there and look, don't wanna try pokemon mansion because grimer only has a 5% encounter rate there. and i wanted him earlier in the game

if you think feebas is hard to catch try a fucking grimer for firered in celadon city. I failed 100 times no kidding trying to catch a grimer with the super rod in that little water place in celadon. i was tryin to get one for my friend but i couldn't and stopped at 100. it only has a 1% encounter rate. but yet my friend gets one for me after his 20th try , wow. and the worst thing is the since grimer has a 1% encounter rate MAGIKARP has the other 99%. don't believe me?

I FOUND FEEBAS!

I have NO clue if this will actually work, but here goes!

Assuming a Feebas' location IS determined by the hip saying in Dewford, first go change the saying to "seedot can't win."

Next, go out of Fortree into route 119, go ALL the way south in the water, until you find a tree you can make a secret fort in. There should be a 1-tile wide strip of ground to the right of it. Go to the top of this strip, surf two tiles up from there, and TURN right. Fish there. Should be a Feebas.

You're welcome. But, uh, I tried the same spot with the same saying in Ruby (I used Sapphire the first time,) and there wasn't a Feebas. So it might also depend on version, or it might just be that it changes randomly when you change the saying, no matter what you change it to.

For those of you who might call me a rich snob because I have both Ruby AND Sapphire, I just have good friends. Good friends who somehow outgrew Pokemon.

However, the odds of even encountering a shiny pokemon are... let's see here... carry the one... 8 in 2^16 which means 8 in 65536 which means 1 in 8192 which means 0.0122%, or under two hundredths of a percent. If you even SEE a shiny, other than the red Gyarados in gen. 2, of course, consider yourself lucky. If you CATCH one, you're a god among men for your luck.

Tell you something amazing: 2-3 days ago, I was looking for Feebas since I didn't have any, there was no rain at 119 for the whole day and I caught like, 20 Feebases in less than 1 hour and a half o.o Most were boys and didn't like blue blocks. Only 2 did and now we have a Milotic in a day! So amazing to get 5 Feebases in a row o.o

FINALLY I CAUGHT IT!! FUCKING FEEBAS!! But let's think... there's no sense OLD ROD is better than the others as "BoyOfAwesome" said, because using old rod can appear MAGIKARP, TENTACOOL and FEEBAS (3 options), but with SUPER ROD can appear CARVANHA or FEEBAS (2 options)... it's 50% of chance to appear feebas, and using old rod is 33,3%... so CAN BE BETTER TO FIND FEEBAS WITH SUPER ROD... (but I found with old rod )

I managed to find myself a feebas tile *pumps fist in air triumphantly* so I took the liberty of doing you guys a favour.

To settle once and for all which rod is the best, I fished 10 times in a feebas spot with each rod, here's what appeared for me:

Old Rod: 6 Feebas, 3 Magikarp, 1 Tentacool

Good Rod: 5 Feebas, 3 Magikarp, 2 Tentacool

Super Rod: 3 Feebas, 7 Carvanha

So its settled, the "old rod" is the quickest for catching feebas. HOPE I HELPED! Happy Fishing

@PricelessJR save the game before you catch rayquaza and everytime it is the normal colour turn off the game then back on battle him again and repeat the process until it is the shiny colour

ps be patient it may take a while roughly 8000 tries but it could be way less

final comment: i just encountered 3 feebas in a row with the old rod. i hope you're not mad at me for my multiple comments, i just want no one to waste their time pointlessly (like i possibly did). thumbs up some of these comments, because they could be really helpful for people that are going on this quest. heading on to evolve my precious trash fish now .

bottom line - PLEASE use old rod to catch feebas and pull at least three times in every spot. right now i'm pulling multiple feebas in a row with an old rod. with super rod, it took me 8 (!!!) times to encounter one feebas. super rod also takes really long to encounter a single pokemon. please think about this before you go looking for it! i spent about 8-10 hours of ingame time looking for it and used super rod for the first half. btw, i conducted these "test runs" on a feebas spot RIGHT now.

a tip to all people catching with old rod (you only have to pull once every time, which makes looking for it way quicker) - you can get 3 magikarp in a row and then feebas. so two pulls on one spot may result in missing the feebas spot, fish at least 4 times in one spot if you don't want that to happen. for super rod - i just tried the spot with it and got 8 carvanhas in a row before seeing a feebas. i seriously don't recommend testing your luck like that.

ok guys this how it works.... start from some place and start fishing and move few yards eevery time and close up spaces you wsn't there on and on until you will get ur feebes... the way i did it is i saved game with shift f1 when is says fish is hooked and than just repeated like 10 times to see if there a feebes in where i fished,,, is after like 10 time there isn't move on to other place... i did it for like 1 hour and got my feebes..... this way works 100000% GL guys

Pick a starter pokemon that you like...

then catch 5 zigzagoon:Ability Pick up items..

Zigzagoon can learn Surf,RockSmash,Cut...But evolve it into linoone to learn strenght...Its easy to evolve they always have a 2on2..

I always do that When is start a new game .. even in ruby and sapphirre...

thats to the right of pacigfolog town, though its kinda hard to find at first when ur looking try sticking to the top of the screen and make sure u save ur masterball for it cause its the hardest of the 3 to catch.

and if u want to get the other 2 go to the weather station to the left of fortree and talk to the guy at the top in front of the computer. he'll tell u that its rainy/dry at a certain route, then go to that route and look for a cave or dive

@kyunyaacupcake Basically Feebas are very rare. The river leading up to Fortree and the lake just before that both have 100 tiles. Of those 100 tiles only *6* of them will have Feebas on them. On the actual 6 tiles they are fairly common but you must find one of those 6 before you can find your Feebas. These 6 tiles are different for everyone.

When I catch my Feebas I use Ultra Balls. They kind of have the same effect as a Master Ball "exspetully with a level 100 Rayquaza" and you can buy them.

ok ebut0014 you first get an acro bike and go to the white poles. then use the bike and ride on to it. click b (gameboy) and hold up to jump up. to that again and go past the first pole to the second and go on the second. jump up and get the berries along with a rare candy!

@ebut0014 you need the waterfall TM first so you have to defeat the sootopolis city gym. THen they'll give you waterfall and you just have to teach it to a certain pokemon

you can use any rod, i suggest a good rod. the best way to find them is to go tile by tile. Catch 3 pokemon if none of them are feebas move to the next one. when you find one of the tiles they're quite common.

You did also check their nature right? Bashfull and hasty also is different in games.

For my knowledge, gender is only introduced for breeding and those love attacks. If gender would matter that much, it would be on serebii.

@oooPunksNotDeadooo if you have a ditto from FireRed or LeafGreen you can breed a male with that and still get Feebas eggs. This works with any pokemon except elgendaries and non-genders.

idk i guess it has to do with the natural enviroment. it tends to rain alot, especially when entering the tall grass that prohibits bike use. There will be uncommon times when the route will not rain but often times, they do.

i got a shiny nincada but i evolved it and it became a shedinja and a ninjast and without cheating on ruby but its not that easy in my game you cant tell wheather its a shiny or not because when you battle it it doesnt emit stars instead you have to look for a color difference instead

You don't need to use Master Ball or Ultra Ball. I got mine with a Great Ball at first try.

this is what to do to catch feebas:

1.go to Dewford(where you fought Brawly the 2nd gym).

2.north from the pokemon center is a dude that will tell ya a "saying",you can change it so do so(this words will determine the tiles that feebas will be).

3.go to route 119 in the lake or river and start fishing with ANY rod(determines lvl).

4.if feebas does not appear then go back to Dewford and change the words until you get feebas.

PS: i got feebas on the lake with the phrase: "BLAZE EH?"

just the color. It was different in the metal generation but now it is just for novelty's sake. Unless you use a Pokeredar you have a 1/8192 shot of finding one in the wild. OR you could just use the Masuda Method for breeding.

Feebas can only be found on 6 'tiles' when surfing or underwater, the 6 tiles are completely random and change everytime you change the trendy phrase in Dewford.

In short: you have to be damn lucky or get some cheats.

yea getting a shiny legendary pokemon is seriously one of the easiest thing to do, you just have to waste lots of your time and battery. If you continue to restart your game when you see a normal rayquaza, you'll get a shiny one eventually. I still remember the day when I was on the train, I met a shiny duskull but it looks normal on the train due to the light so I ran away.... DAMN!

feebas will only appear in 6 of the 400 tiles to fish in this area. Try to fish in each spot in this area about four times. If a feebas does not appear in the 4 (or more) times then try a different space. Continue this process consecutively and when you find the exact tile where feebas is then catch a bunch of them.

at last after a week of hunting i found my feebas.here's a tip: surf on water in route 119 and when a pokemon appears, try to fish on the spot where you encounter the pokemon ^^ that's what i do but you have to do it 3-5 times. hope this will work and gud luck

Feebas can only be found in 6 squares out of the 400 squares on route 119, and these squares are randomized, but once you find those 6 squares you'll have a 70% to 80% of catching it, good luck.

in route 119, there are a total of 6 tiles where you can catch it. but even if you're in the right tile, there's about 30%­guarantee you'll encounter it. so I fought 3 poke's on every tile. that way, it'll take longer, but the chance you'll miss it is slim ^^

also, the 6 tiles change when the trendy saying changes on the island with the 2nd gym. So if you checked a few tiles, and change the trendy saying, you have to start all over again. it took me some days to catch one. good luck

first you have emerald right then u goto battle frountier and use the clonin glitch. then goto battle tower and put items on 5 pokemon ur clonin then goto the pc in the right corner and deposit 5 pokemon on box 9 only. thenlogout save goto first multi link lady on the left (closest) goto open level take two pokemon and save dont overwrite when it says  overwrite say no or shut off

yes I can! I found two of them. Ok go to lilycove where the wailmer used to be when team aqua was still there and surf out to the border where if you moved just a little bit over you would end up in the route just on the outside. It will take some tries but you will eventually catch some. (use a super rod when you are surfing just inside the border) good luck!

I have to say 3 things....

1. feebass is catchable with only a pokebal (DO NEVER EVER USE MASTERBAL ON FEEBASS is just not neccesary and cerainly not worth it).

2. the best way to find feebas is to fish with a old rod because then you wont find to much pokemon instead of feebass.

o and 3.... feebass is pretty rare in that water so just check the whole water by fishing everywhere and you cant miss the feebass spot because you wont find anything else at that spott.

first you have to beat the game

then go to the battle tower in the battle frontier. put the pokemon in the PC and save. Take out the pokemon and go to the nearest counter thingy say yes and stuf do open level. enter any two pokemon and she'll say you have to save.

there should be a pause. now, halfway through saving (its about two seconds for me) turn the power off. turn it back on, it will say it is corrupted and will load the old file. now you should have the pokemon in ur party and ur Pc

1. Get some Repels (wont affect latias)

2. Make sure you have already encountered him once (to see where he is in pokedex)

3. Get on the edge of 2 routes and go back and forth between the two each time checking your pokedex to see if the latias is in your route. do this long enough and he will end up at the same route as you eventualy.

4. Then just use a repel and go find him in grass

You also have to beat the Elite Four.

And its smart to use a Pokemon with Mean Look, so Latias doesn't run. I always use Golbat.

I caught mine with an Old Rod, and to my shock and amazement I got mine on just the TENTH tile!!! I was so happy, I know it can take days to figure out which tiles they are on. I checked each tile 5 times, and start at the lower-lefthand corner of the route.

A Feebas is rare. You can only get it on 6 of the squares on route 119.

To get 30 masterballs, we use the cloning cheat at the battle frontier.

Sure, getting Feebas is har work, buta soon as you max out its beauty and raise it one level, it evolves into Milotic, possible one of the games most hardest pokemon.

Ruby and Sapphire are very similar. The difference is that you can find some Pokemons on Ruby that you cant find on Sapphire. And you can find some Pokemons on Sapphire that you cant find on Ruby.

Emerald is an upgraded version of Ruby and Sapphire, so Emerald is the best game. ^__^

If you shall complete your Pokedex you need Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen.

on da bottom of route 119, theres a little pond n if u surf, you'll see a fisher guy, if u talk 2 him he'll say something like GO 4A SURF ON MY POKEMON ... after u talk 2 him go bak surfing and check EVERY tile n inch in that place! from left 2 right n up n down, i didnt believe it til i tried it n it did work trust me go fish with an old rod and try it, DONT MISS ANY TILE, you'll find em on that same tile, AND DONT LEAVE THE PLACE cuz Feebas is gna change places

That's a shiny Rayquaza... and unless you are using a cheating device, the chances of finding a shiny pokémon are 1 in 1000000... the chances of finding a shiny legendary pokémon are even less... let's say 1 in 1000000000 since you can only catch the legendary pokémon once...
